About

Isabel Ruivivar is a New York City-based fashion and graphic designer. She has worked in many different sectors of the design industry, such as Activewear, Accessories, and Homegoods. She is a graduate of the B.F.A. Fashion design program of the Fashion Institute of Technology and spent one year studying International Fashion Design at the Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy. 

Philosophy

Throughout her life,  she was fortunate enough to have been encouraged to pursue a creative and artistic mindset.  Being surrounded by this type of environment allowed her to develop an open mind, and a deep appreciation for art and design.  Going into design seemed like a natural step for her, as she has always believed that clothing is one of the easiest ways to express yourself, and to show the world who you are as person.   The process of having an idea in your head, then evolving it into a physical piece of work has always both fascinated and challenged her, which has kept pushing her to new levels. She pull inspiration from history, nature, science, as well as other aspects of design such as fine arts and architecture.  She truly believes that we are all interconnected and pull inspiration from one another.
